Pixel Habit

Privacy Policy

The short version

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how the Pixel Habit iOS app ("the app", "we", "us") handles information. It applies to the app itself. It does not cover the App Store, which is operated by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.

Information that stays on your device

The app is built to work without an account. The following is created on your iPhone and stored there, in the app's private storage:

None of this is transmitted to us. We operate no server that receives it, and we have no way to read it. It is included in your device backups if you have iPhone backups turned on, and those backups are governed by Apple's terms, not ours.

Subscriptions

Pixel Habit offers an optional paid subscription, Pixel Habit Plus. Two companies are involved when you subscribe.

Apple

All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see or receive your payment details — no card number, no billing address, no bank information. Apple's handling of that information is described in Apple's privacy policy.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscriptions and to check whether a subscription is currently active. When you open the paywall or make a purchase, RevenueCat may receive:

This is used only to deliver what you paid for: to confirm your subscription is valid, to restore it on a new device, and to keep our own records of active subscriptions accurate. It is not used to advertise to you. RevenueCat is based in the United States, so this information is processed there. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details of their practices.

Reminders and notifications

If you turn on reminders, the app asks iOS for permission to send notifications and then schedules them locally on your device. There are no push notifications sent from a server, and no reminder content reaches us. You can withdraw the permission at any time in iOS Settings.

If you contact us

The app offers a way to send feedback by email. If you use it, or write to us directly, we will see your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message, including any diagnostic details you decide to include. We use it only to answer you, and we keep it no longer than we need for that.

What we do not do

Children

Pixel Habit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through a message to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Keeping and deleting your information

Because your habits and progress live on your device, deleting the app deletes them. That cannot be undone by us, and we cannot restore them for you.

Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are kept for as long as needed for billing, tax and accounting purposes. To cancel a subscription, use Manage Subscriptions in your Apple Account settings; cancelling stops future renewals and does not by itself erase past billing records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information about you, and to object to certain processing.

In practice we hold very little: we have no account for you and no copy of your habits. For anything held by our subscription provider, or for a request about an email exchange with us, write to the address below and we will act on it. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, say so in the app.
